As far as I know, the reason that you can't have a village too close to an iron farm is because villagers will only spawn an iron golem if they haven't seen another iron golem recently. Villiger spawn iron golems periodically, so having a village near an iron farm means there is a risk that an iron golem from the village will wonder ...And the worksite blocks are personal, they need one each. So if you have a trading hall with villagers locked in cubicles you need to make sure they have the right worksite block, they can chose one from something like 50 blocks away (maybe more) but they have to get up close to use it.Do villagers need beds to restock? (Java 1.19) ... No, they do not. As ling as they have access to their work bench they should restock up to twice a day. Never at night so best bet there is to sleep through. ...
